i recently saw a tv show that astounded me. it was called 'celebrity daredevils'. the premise of the show is self-explanatory. they doused a model/softporn actress in petrol and set her ablaze and got lorenzo lamas to jump over 10 cars in a bike. then came the stunt that shocked my mother and i. or rather, the stunt that went wrong.

dennis rodman was to drive over a cliff amidst explosions, action movie style and left suspended over the cliff.

but this was what happened instead.






the audio went something like this:

Dennis Rodman: OHHH YEEEEEEEAAAAAAHH!!!! OH YEAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Dennis Rodman: OHH #$%^&*....

i swear it's so funny... in a macabre sense.

the incredulous bit is that none of the producers/stunt coordinators had any common sense to realise that when you string something and push it off the side, it inevitable creates a pendulum effect. obviously they never learnt physics in school.

i had to hand it to Rodman though.

Dennis Rodman: i counted my fingers to make sure i still have them all...
