i am puzzled.

in Urban today...

"the generous (Simon) Yam also gave his wife a signed blank cheque last Valentine's Day, on which she inscribed a modest "HK$9999 (S$2187) - for luck".

was that supposed to be a romantic gesture? sort of like a "i love you so much, you can bleed me dry if you want to"? but who gives money as a valentine's day gift??

what's going on, Blogger?

i've been receiving several Blogger Support emails asking me to follow a link to change my password because i supposedly forgot my password and requested help from Blogger. no such thing happened, so why am i inundated with these emails, sometimes up to 5 in a single morning?

is someone trying to break into my blogger account? but then it wouldn't make sense because this intruder should have realised that blogger would send the emails to my email account for which he/she would not have access to either. and i know he/she doesnt have access into it because ultimately my blogger password hasn't been changed.

and i wouldn't put it past blogger to screw up something again.

blogger blogger blogger.. what's going on?

join the club

i knew it was coming... but no amount of preparation can quite cushion the shock and slight indignation of receiving this mail.

by the end of october, i will be a complimentary member of SDU...

damn smart lah, MCYS, automatically draft ALL graduates into the programme unless they choose to opt-out of it, and while you're at it, cunningly send this piece of mail in mid-October when the closing date is 31st October, why don't you?

so fine, ill 'join'. might be interesting to see what programmes they have planned for us, and make use of this (i quote) "gift to jumpstart my social life", and who knows, i just might meet the man of my dreams and do my national service as a baby-making machine in the near future. whoopee.

unbreakable

"we gotta stay tuned
cos there's more to see (unbreakable)
through the technical difficulties (unbreakable)
we might have to take a break
but you'll know we'll be back next week
i'm singing this love is unbreakable
oh yeah yeah"

thanks, and sorry, guys, for not updating for some time. dont have much to say here anymore, and i didnt wanna bore you all with mundane things like "what i ate for lunch today" or "what i did at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, and come to think of it, it's the same thing i did at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm yesterday". you could say i do have some "technical difficulties" to overcome when it comes to blogging; i just dont know what to say or how to say what i want to say here lately. a complete synapse breakdown. but suffice to know that im doing fine, and if you wanna catch up, just give me a call :)

this isnt goodbye. this is just an explanation as to why i havent been blogging, but have been somewhat updating this site (if you noticed lah anyway). who knows, i might get into a blogging rampage next week. i am a splogger yknow.

ps. if anyone knows where to get the chill-out version of alicia key's "rock wit you", pls do share! i shall owe you my undying gratitude and might split with you the contents of my piggy bank ($4.76 and counting)

pps. the above excerpt is from a song. a song by the marvelous alicia keys. a song that got stuck in my head. i repeat, a SONG. it does not in any way depict any aspect of my life (unless you count the "technical difficulties" in relation to my blog) and/or refer to anyone in particular. i know it has that (gees) word "love" in it but that's a (haha) technical difficulty i cant help, ok? it's in the song. dont try to overanalyze my life. i know a lot of ppl like to do that from reading blogs. go do something contructive with your time ok? like, feed a hamster or something.
