it is not uncommon to hear a broken-hearted sucker lament how 'love is overrated' because you dont need it, and it leaves you devastated.

my take on this statement is that it is long overdue for a revamp.

love is in fact, highly underrated, in the sense that hardly anyone values it enough to want to embody it in their lives anymore. no one takes it seriously. if they did, surely less people would be hurt, and you wouldn't think love is overrated when you're deliciously ensconced in a pink bubble.

finding true love, now that's what's overrated. everyone is desperately seeking something which no one believes in enough to show their partners. isnt it absurd?
