the Mango sale has commenced and i have refrained, unbelivably so, from buying anything at all when i visited it today.

the saying literally means 'turning over salted fish'. now this is strange. what is that supposed to depict? maybe it's trying to say "if even the bleddy giam herh can come alive and flip over, i confirm can 'flip' and be a good person also".

get it? it means turning over a new leaf. someone like me can actually step into a sale, one that most girls wait long long and save up their little girls' pocket money for, and stroll out coolly without a Mango carrier on my arm. it's all bangkok's fault, really. when you've experienced buying pretty dangly earrings for as little as S$0.50 when most local shops here would charge you at least S$10 for, you dont really want to shop in singapore anymore.
