no more 'i love you's

it should be made law.

it's unethical to say "i love you" when you don't.

most ppl dont know the meaning of 'love', and yet they go around dishing it out like macdonald's coupons. i may not know all there is to know about love. but i know one thing.

i know when it is NOT love. and that's almost about the same thing.

say "i like you", or "i care about you", or "i worry about you" or even "i think about you all the time". but if you dont love the person, dont say it.

it's absolutely disgusting when i see people say "i love you" to someone, then do something totally "un-love-you-ish" behind their backs.

are there shades of love, like shades of grey?

sure, i think so.

but there's a difference between what is, and what we make of it, isn't there?

what is, like, say, opportunity, is there. it's a situation tht presents itself. it's a state of nature.
what we make of it, is what we're going to do about this what is tht we've been given. what are you going to do with this opportunity that you've been given? what are you going to do with this love that you've been given? are you doing to treasure it, or abuse it?

if you can love, truly love, someone, then surely you can make the effort to be faithful to that someone, can't you?

if you can't, you don't love that person enough to give up things for him/her. he/she doesn't mean enough to you.

then you shouldn't have the right to say "i love you".
